nah...was the bmxer with a black arm and some other tatts and neh hair and girls jeans!!!!...didn't ride much really...

My bike. I wish. I was up in Glasgow at the weekend but my bikes was down in England. Also at 10pm on Sunday I was on the A66 making my way back down to Redcar for work.

I'm definitely up for this. I'm bringing my bike up this weekend and I'll be in Glasgow until Wednesday afternoon. I'd be up for some rides/pub visits etc.

Interesting that it won't go straight. I always found the Fuji seatpost to be quite simple to work.

AND......i just went and fixed my saddle angle, i was just being stupid before....AAAAAND......i never used to bmx, i skate as in skateboard.

A Giant Bowery, with chrome forks, outside the takeaway on Dumbarton Road at Byres Road. This was mid-West End Festival on Sunday afternoon and the bike was chained to a fence.

Sure, it's a crap spot, what with the bike being stationary and without a rider, but they all look the same to me when they're moving. Plus, I've never seen a Bowery in Glasgow before. So there.

I saw a Giant Bowery for the first time on Thursday. I was out with the Newcastle Night Bandits. Was an awesome night. The guy on the Bowery was a mentalist.

It's no' the nicest off-the-peg out there. The chrome forks look like they've been salvaged, like they belong on another bike.

Can't say I'm a fan of the langster/bowery type. I prefer the steel OTPs meant for the track.

Bianchi Pista in Lenzie couple of weeks ago Friday at th back of 5. In traffic at roadworks. I mounted the pavement and went cyclocrossing to avoid the wait, said hi as I passed.

Something white, chained up outside Hillhead Underground station at early o'clock this morning. It had very distinctive short bullhorns with blue bar tape. I'm going to specialise in these crap, riderless bike spots. :-)

yeah white bike outside hillhead is ALWAYS there.....the guy/girl must work in like starbucks of the tube station or something.

Ah, I've never noticed it outside the Underground, but I did get a strange feeling this morning that I'd seen it somewhere before. Maybe that's where.

im looking forward to comming through to Glasgow tomorrow for a cycle!
i need to somehow find a substitute bike lock or something to lock my bike up at work tomorrow so i can just get the train after.
might try and find a chain and padlock.....any other ideas?

A nice powder blue Viner chained up at the junction of Byres Road and Dumbarton Road. Sort out the saggy chain! :-)

spotted one guy this weekend in Glasgow with a bianchi pista at the gibson street festival thing on sunday with a royal mail postie bag on and two guys who cycled past, one wearing a purple hat......any of you on here?

An On One with wooly-hatted rider on Brand Street this afternoon. Could've been a courier, I suppose, which doesn't really count. Nonetheless, I'm going to stick at this until I get a response.

Don't know why I bother but I spotted a guy on an old raleigh, pink frame, bullhorn handlebars with a gold finger break lever. This was on Queensferry road in Edinburgh (the very same that I had spotted the 3 the day before). Told the guy he was the 4th fixed I'd spotted in 2 days, he found this amusing saying he though he was the only one.

Oh one more, about 6 weeks ago spotted a guy on a black framed steel fixie spinning like a motherfucker up lothian road at 8am on a sunday morning, followed him down queensferry (there is something about that road), me on a roadie, he was bloody quick. I should be on the go soon with my red beast.

Purple Dave Yates on Great Western Road at Byres Road half an hour ago. Rider sporting regulation shoulder bag, rolled-up right trouser leg and lock attached to waist. Nice lookin' bike, though.

I was out last night and saw a couple of fixed gears locked up on sauchiehall street. I can't remember what they looked like. I was too drunk to notice anything but the number of cogs on the back.

Coming out of the Sub Club on friday, sweet Bianchi Pista locked up outside...

Aye that was my mate. Bike is huge, largest size the Pista comes in I believe. I can't even stand over it.

Raced him in a taxi to the southside. Got lost and he beat us.

on my old bike i raced my friend who was in his car from the west end to the other side of the city.
i had time to stop off at aldi and get a "liquid breakfast".....bikes in the city are just common sense.

Aye they are. 15 minutes on average quicker than public transport for my commute. I'm not riding fixed yet but it'll probably be slower due to Duke Street + Craigpark Street. Craigpark being almost as bad as Garnet Hill.

not just in the city - i'm 20 minutes quicker than public transport from newmilns to glasgow city centre. could be quicker with a bigger gear but i'd never get back home again!

It is a massive bike Euan... Mind you, me being 5' 6", most bikes look like they belong to giants. I think it's the same guy I see riding through Finnieston on my way home..? How's he find the Pista..? I'm thinking of buying...

He loves that bike he does. Pretty much he is either in a building or on that bike. I had a go on it and being 5'6" myself it was interesting. That was my first fixed gear experience as an adult and what got me so hyped up about it. I'm a paycheck away from completing my Mercian conversion so I'll be joining the fun soon.

Hope to actually do the Pedal for Scotland run on it.

Spotted guy in a red tshirt going up Bath Street on a matt black fixie minus any decals at about 19:10 last night.

what colour was the rear tyre and what bars did he have? my last bike was matt black, ss but not fg.
