I have you seen this before? Can't find anything about it online.

Seen on a Jap. blog.
what is it?
hehe, my thoughts exactly
mudgaurd?
should get this to go with it -
mud guard that extends from seat. A nice seat. Is the clue not in the name?
It looks like something i used in a summer job once. You get this plastic fascia that you put on for example a garage is your using galvanised metal roofs. like you see in a shanty town, and you put the plastic below it and its like a joint just about 3 times the width of the wheel. I think its a pretty doable thing if you go to like B&Q, even like if you take a plastic tube and cut what you need and attach under the seat with cable ties.

I think you're missing the point here. It's built into a seat, a nice seat. No cable ties, trips to B&Q or gutter pipe.
I cant see it being that effective to be honest its to narrow to short and to high, your lights will be filthy and instead of a muddy stripe you'll have two with a nice clean bit inbetween.
Might as well stick a bus ticket to yer rear stays.
Check it here... Me no speakie the lingo but you might know someone who does...
i reckon i could make one of these pretty easily.. might do some experiments first though to see if it would actually be effective.. i do like the idea!
It would be more effective if it concertinaed out when it was fully extended, something as narrow as that will only work close to the wheel surely?
thats my opinion. I might have a play about myself actually.
I think we're willing to acknowledge it'll not be a tremendously effective mudguard, but it will cut out a fairly large amount of the direct spray that hits yer arse. Also, it looks pretty nice and minimal which is what some people are into (me for instance).
see i'm either go8ing fast and don't give a feck about wet arse or i'm going somewhere where i do I can't think of many instances where i want to be ' a bit less wet'
I usually have gore-tex trousers in my bag unless its mid-summer. But it often rains when I'm nearly home and having something that just stopped me getting soaked through at my butt for the last few minutes would keep me happy, any worse then I'd just jump off and put on the overtrousers. Horses for courses.
nah i'm just being a dick your'e right in that situation it would be diamond.
