A few of us Edinburgh folk are going to be there. We got any scottish competition? Or are we going to have to dominate* the london teams on our own.

Sorry, which city placed 1st AND 2nd at the Scottish Champs/SHIT?
We were just being good hosts; making sure you didn't cry as we beat you mercilessly. Come to Manchester, It's ON!
On like Vince Vaughn!
We need a team name, suggestions guys.
How about '3 Glasgae Kisses' or 'Champions of SHIT'
1. Gedi
2. islipaway
3. Mech_V
There's at least one team.
Looking like it'll be Sunday the 18th of April.
James, did you get an email from Ian from Livi?
Is there a proper registration process or is it just put ur name on the list on the lfgss.com?
Just put yer name on the list on lfgss. 'tis Dr. Chan who is organising it.
The cap was just idle chat which is probably not happening now - though near-40 teams feck!
Was originally just going to be just the 18th, but due to the amount of teams could be 17th & 18th. Chatting to chandy on Thursday so can give you a wee bit of an unreliable unofficial possibly-incorrect heads-up advance on what should be happening.
actually, make that sunday.
If you guys need somewhere to kip you can stay at my mouse-infested pit of a flat (I live with two boys who have just moved away from home and don't know how to look after themselves and two unemployed stoner greeks; I'm not the minging one I swear).
Edinburgh crowd are staying here so will be crowded, but there is always floor/sofa space.
from that london site -

God, you guys are quick.
Just back from the pub and was about to post the following.
--------------------
Ok, this is a headsup. We had a proper meeting today (proper as in it didn't involve beer, merely hangovers and coffee)
I'm posting this to make sure everyone is aware of how to register prior to registration opening.
The manchester tournament is going to be held over the course of an april weekend - Sat the 17th and Sun the 18th of april. The thread which is on LFGSS is ONLY to guage interest and is NOT registration.
If you want to be registered you need to sign up between TUES 23rd FEB at 2pm and SUN 28th FEB at 2pm in a NEW thread to be started on LFGSS. Though I suggest as soon as possible as their will be a cap at 36 teams.
So you need to be certain about WHO is DEFINATELY playing and will need a team name BEFORE registration on TUESDAY.
Full details which Adam posted on lfgss are as what was posted one post up
--------------------
So yeah, sign up. Edinburgh polo = winners. 'Glasgow? You got nuffink mate!'
Colin (Edinburgh exiled in Manchester)
Well i canny remember what team name was suggested n i dont have paypal so someone else is gonna have to sort this out.
paypal won't be needed until we figure out how much it'll cost (which is dependant on the amount of teams after final registration and of course venue etc.). Paypal was just mentioned to make sure people weren't surprised when we started asking for money post registration (hopefullyit won't be anywhere near as much as £20, just enough to cover running costs)
Ok, bumping this up again. Are we going then ? ? ?
Here's the official link for the sign up. UK Championships - Manchester
painted concrete surface
it'll be dry (other than the sweat of all you losing teams) so it should be fine
Slippy? naw. It's near perfect.
Here's the email I received today about the Manc Champs.
Based on the costs we have for everything we need to provide you with a great UK Championships in Manchester, i'd like to announce that the registration fee PER TEAM will be £25.
Please can you send a GIFT payment to my PayPal account (adamruss@gmail.com) for you teams registration, please can you note which team you are paying for in the payment comments on PayPal.
Prompt payment will be greatly appreciated, as we are already beginning to cover some of the costs for the Champs from our own pockets.
Thanks guys
Adam
I only have like 13 quid in my paypal account so I can't cover it at the moment. If anyone can we can all chip in on Thursday. I'm also beginning to feel like I'm the only one going there. Can everyone confirm that ones to go ?

Check the website to see what teams we will be up against.
As for champs accommodation,I'm putting you all up. Gives a ring on my mobile (from 5 or send a text andi'llget backto you). Daveo from Edinburgh will have the keys to my flat. Bring a sleeping bag and a mat if you can. I've not lived there for 3 weeks so there is a possibility(probability) my manky flatmates won't have cleaned since i left. In fallowfield, on egerton road.
oh yeah, Ican't reply on this. No internet.
