Just found Cooper Bikes
All look like expensive versions of that nice conversion I saw at St. Enoch's the other day....
[quote][cite] newfix:[/cite]They seem to have gone from car tuning kits to bikes - am I missing something?
only the fact that some marketing guy has picked up the brand and applied it to a bike that'll sit next to the loathesome BMW 'Mini' in the showroom for trendy young folks to buy as a rooftop accessory for the summer months.
Unipack + brooks = Cooper.

probably spot on.
Also, they're 520, not 531....

[quote][cite] pidjen:[/cite]i read this thread as copper bikes and thought surely not. i still have a vision of a plumbing piping bike.
There's a few copper plated bicycles around already although I'm pretty sure none of them are made with actual copper piping... That of course, may be for a reason!
[quote][cite] euan:[/cite]copper tubed bike? Sounds like something Raleigh had for the 80s.
There was a pair (maybe a matched set) of Wilier copper plated bikes on ebay before Christmas.
