Finally got some Brooks tape, a shade off the saddle colour but it will get there. I recommend these guys. Next day delivery for free, and Brooks bar tape for £29.

After the anti-clilpless lobby's efforts on Saturday I decided to get myself another set of old fashioned pedals for poser points.

£65 all in. Now I just need to get some clips.

When you said 60ish inch I thought you meant 'three times your size'. I now get what you mean. Would it be a pub bike or a nice bike?

I'm thinking that I eventually want to have a nice bike with a fairly low gear and clips/straps and then the commuter which will be clipless (mostly for the overshoes).

You should definitely fit them to your bike- that way everyone will instantly be able to see that you have won a competition (or lost a bet).

MKS pedals are superb - I was torn between the RX-1's and the Royal Nuevo when I was deciding.

Also, MKS toe clips are NJS.... and cheap.

it feels horrible when you go back from clipless to clips and trainers. But after a few days you forget about it.

I'm probably going to buy some MKS GR9s to save some of the nightmare compared to track pedals.

    Sapim Laser spokes
    38T chainring

Just need to get hold of an Open Pro and my first wheel build will be on the go.

I just got my first roll back from the developers...The results were grand (disapointingly normal for a camrea from the Lomo factory)...they are what they are, and because they are not range finders and have no light meter its all unpredictable...I'm going to concentrate on slide film, multi exposures and cross processing...I'll post anyt results that are interesting.

If you have a handfull of them I'd run a film through each to see is there each has its own quirk...then muck about with the most interesting.

Some new Sylvan Tracks and VeloSolo double clips to replace my broken GR-9s and Soma quad gate clips. Not sure how I'll adjust to clips and straps again after riding with egg beaters over winter. Summer pub crawls require regular footwear I reckon though, so I'm just going to have to cope.
