Now now, keep it civil. Just to rub it in, it's this one. A total bargain I would say. The guy lives round the corner from my mum and a couple of miles from my work, so I emailed sayng I'd have the cash in his hands today.

Hi, got some cycling items (amongst other things) for sale on eBay at the moment - some previously advertised on here.
Obviously easier to sell items locally to save hassle of packaging & dispatch etc.

Anybody thought about taking the plunge with one of these frames?
Visp Track Frame from the Far East
Personally I'm a bit dubious about buying from afar like that, heard some horror stories on other bike forums about Chinese purchases and a guy I know at work got stung buying some (what he thought were Callander carbon fibre golf clubs) from Taiwan.
Be nice to know if anybody has though and what the frames are like in reality.

If it's on ebay, he has decent feedback and accepts paypal it's gonna be fine. Customs won't be much on an £80 frame either!

Wow. That's amazing. The 7600s I linked to only sold for £87 also. I should start stalking eBay more. I want nice stiff cranks for a track bike and at those prices I'd love a nice 7710 set.

Dura Ace 7710 167.5 cranks for £100... the mercenary in me is tempted to buy them and make some money but before I decide to be a total dick I thought someone might want to take advantage of a bargain.

The ones that went for £102 were a total bargain, they were also 172.5. The further from 165 track cranks are, the lower the used prices seem to be. Most of the DA 7710 cranks I've seen go on the london forum have been about £150. £100 ono is cheap.

when they first opened they had a belter of a bike in the window that some company had donated as a prize or whatever. As they were a new shop they didnae have a grill on the window. so some wee ned came along and tanned the window and fucked off with the bike.

They had quite a good rapport with the edinburgh fixed crew think they sell some track stuff and are/were decent folk?
