^^^ That Bates was on e-bay recently.
Is that more self promotion rather than a find?
I came across it in my selling items...ooops! :)
Anyone for a £30 turbo trainer?
otherjames:Anyone for a £30 turbo trainer?
Good find James, it is now mine, I owe you one.
bastard. I wanted that trainer......
Sorry Block 405, looks like I now owe you one.
Damn. I contacted the guy too. Too late I suppose.

If you see another cheap turbo, Yes please : 0 )
I'll keep my eyes peeled.
I think Rory was looking for a small frame?
lol, getafix will be all over that for his kid I bet!
islipaway:lol, getafix will be all over that for his kid I bet!
I am quite tempted.
Block 405:bastard. I wanted that trainer......
Now now, keep it civil. Just to rub it in, it's this one. A total bargain I would say. The guy lives round the corner from my mum and a couple of miles from my work, so I emailed sayng I'd have the cash in his hands today.
you fucking kidding me?! £30 for a £300 trainer, how did he do that?
Yeah. The moment I noticed that I sent an email quick sharp. It was this morning and I thought I'd gotten in there first.
getafix sell the trainer to block 405 for 130spuid he gets a bargain priced trainer and you get enough cash to buy yourself anotherone, bish bash bosh everyone is happy!
£185 they go for s/hand.
F@ck. Me and my big mouth.
Haha yeah I spotted what it was instantly as well. I didnt jump because I don't need another trainer.
euan:Haha yeah I spotted what it was instantly as well. I didnt jump because I don't need another trainer.
That's just not true. Two trainers is always a good idea.
Hi, got some cycling items (amongst other things) for sale on eBay at the moment - some previously advertised on here.
Obviously easier to sell items locally to save hassle of packaging & dispatch etc.
Anybody thought about taking the plunge with one of these frames?
Visp Track Frame from the Far East
Personally I'm a bit dubious about buying from afar like that, heard some horror stories on other bike forums about Chinese purchases and a guy I know at work got stung buying some (what he thought were Callander carbon fibre golf clubs) from Taiwan.
Be nice to know if anybody has though and what the frames are like in reality.
If it's on ebay, he has decent feedback and accepts paypal it's gonna be fine. Customs won't be much on an £80 frame either!
Someone bought one on lfgss.
That said it looks like it is a heavy frame+fork combo.

Cheap Fizik saddles
I was just about to buy the silver/red one but decided against it. If it was black/red I'd have been there in a second.
Yep. I would have been the same. I guess the CX version is still good value.
NOS Suzue Promax Hubs £30 each, free postage on orders over £50 too. Mad bargain, no need for them but bought a pair anyway! One set left and a few extra rears.
Or through PlanetX
For the mountainbikers out there, 'zocchi are selling OEM MX forks for £54

rusty:Dura Ace Cranks:
these are ending in 10mins.. only at £100 now.
That is a cracking deal if you get them sub £150. I had a max bid of £100 and was just outbid.. can't afford anymore.
wtf gutted.. went for £102.66!!!!
trailstar:wtf gutted.. went for £102.66!!!!
ouch, i always bid a random amount like that won. have one a few bids by the matter of a few pence in the past.
Wow. That's amazing. The 7600s I linked to only sold for £87 also. I should start stalking eBay more. I want nice stiff cranks for a track bike and at those prices I'd love a nice 7710 set.
Found this add on gumtree.

Anyone want to buy a bikeshop? Its in Embru though.
I don't want to buy a shop that sells bikes in the £60-£200 range....
Dura Ace 7710 167.5 cranks for £100... the mercenary in me is tempted to buy them and make some money but before I decide to be a total dick I thought someone might want to take advantage of a bargain.

That seems to be the going price right now though
The ones that went for £102 were a total bargain, they were also 172.5. The further from 165 track cranks are, the lower the used prices seem to be. Most of the DA 7710 cranks I've seen go on the london forum have been about £150. £100 ono is cheap.
Getafix:Anyone want to buy a bikeshop? Its in Embru though.
when they first opened they had a belter of a bike in the window that some company had donated as a prize or whatever. As they were a new shop they didnae have a grill on the window. so some wee ned came along and tanned the window and fucked off with the bike.

They had quite a good rapport with the edinburgh fixed crew think they sell some track stuff and are/were decent folk?
Oh well... just made a presumption it was a BSO shop at 60-200 quid.
