Probably some non NJS coding..........or too many pictures of bikes with Velocity Deep V's with the stickers still on (pet hate.)

    I'm pleased it's back though.

Don't see any reason why not, you'll go through a lot of tyres skidstopping though.

Nah, just lean to the left/right and skid stop on two wheels :)

Track stands would be pretty easy though.

it's a good bike. worth buying it now for when the 'drome gets built. i don't think it's possible to drill that fork (i have the same one on my track bike) so it'd need a bit of work for road use - new forks, brake and a slightly more forgiving gearing but it'd still be a bargain!

Hi, Just joined. I'm the owner of the hideous - seat, stem, bars combo, Surly discussed earlier in the thread. Nothing iffy about it though, its hardly been ridden. Its been up for sale a few times due to time wasters. Selling to buy a geared bike as i have arthritis in both knees.
Never thought I'd hear cyclists slaging a bike off for its asthetics, wrong colour of finishing kit perhaps? I thought cycling was about riding and a state of mind, not just about bling. Expected more from fixed gear fans. Just a thought. Surly is still on Gumtree Glasgow, Posting ref: 36781635. Cheers

There was one post asking if it was a good idea for purchase, a second saying it had been up before and to be cautious, a few more about the good quality parts and then one about someone not liking the stem and bars. I'd hardly call that a slagging.

Also, this is the eBay/Gumtree finds thread. This thread is almost entirely about bling.
