Good turn out again, with some new faces, for a southside jaunt, including a new pub stop.
The roads were so bad that my rear mudguard sheared off on the way home though (thankfully not completely). The neds are also pretty brave over on that side of the river...

The roads were so bad that my rear mudguard sheared off on the way home though (thankfully not completely). The neds are also pretty brave over on that side of the river...
just a bit of youthful exuberance. the little scamps...(would loved to of clothes-lined them tho)

So how do you guys decide where you'll be riding to ? I'll actually be free tomorrow so I might come as long as we don't go to the southside and split there. I just don't feel like going really far out. Is there a routine usually ? Explain.

Generally people meet at the Big Slope then ride to town to meet me. Then we decide where we're going (usually to check something out like a hill or a potential polo court or an interesting road) then we go there and loop back to the big slope for a pint.
Last week we went to Shawlands and had a pint there instead. Any shouts for locations to ride to this week?

We could go to the other courts mentioned in the Polo thread. The mansfield park one could be done. Or the Dennistoun. Both would be quite a long ride.

From that, I think we should take a look at both the Mansfield Park and Victoria park ones, since you pass the first to get to the latter. It's not all that far.

Sounds like a plan. So 6:00pm at Big Slope, 6:20pm(ish) at Buchanan St and then Mansfield park, Victoria park, pub.
