Was in TK maxx today, they've got hex keys for 2 quid and a set of spanners for 4 quid. All pretty high quality stuff, i.e. the hex keys won't be those shitty ones that are softer than the metal they're meant to turn.

Google docs perhaps. It's pretty simple and is made for sharing and editing by a group.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. It'd be nice to have a more graphical front end though. I'll look into it over the weekend.

Anyone got a Torque Wrench I could borrow? Mainly something that'll do the higher ends for installing BB & Crank bolts.

Cool, I don't need it right now - will wait till my bits arrive then check exactly what fittings and whatnot I need.

WIlly Bain will let you use his if you ask nicely. I've installed BB and cranks there and if you're struggling, he'll even show you how to do it.

I threaded a square taper crank. Even with Park crank puller, the thing is stuck on. Does anyone have one of these -

I'm soaking it in GT85 overnight and ill have another go at it tomorrow, but its been on a while so not that optimistic...

hey guys, I´m new to the forum, well new to scotland actually. I just bought a new fixie and the lock ring came loose over the weekend is there anyone out there I could maybe borrow a tool from to tighten it? also would you recommend using loc-tite or anything on the thread?? Any help would be awesome and I´m in the Dennistoun area so can ride anywhere near that even to just use the tool on the spot!

Thanks in advance for any help

I have a full Park Pro tool kit and a Shimano pro tech tool kit for work.

If anyone needs a tool to sort something just shout, it's likely I'll have it.

    scottyp:Hey,
Would you have a lockring tool in one of your kits that I would be able to borrow sometime soon? If you dont but know a shop that would have one and be able to tighten it for me please let me know.

    thanks Scott

Yeah I have one, its called a C ring wrench. Is your lock ring a standard style with 2 notches cut out 180 degrees apart? I am up north today, but I can tighten it for you easily, or if your desperate, nearly all bikes shops will have one, its a fairly bog standard workshop tool.
