if you fone and say you have 2-4-1 vouchers they never actually need to see them, have not the last 4 times i have ordered with mates. becomes a bit of a bargain.
hawaiian and pepperoni/ham for the win.
Honestly, I think Dominoes are total shite - doughy as fuck and really oily (= not in a good way). I make pizza all the time and they cost a couple of quid to make from scratch maximum, for authentic neapolitan stylee.
Yeah, I spose. i just can't go all that dough.
[quote][cite] rusty:[/cite]I made a pizza from scratch a week ago. It's different though. Sometimes you want champagne. Sometimes you just need a bottle of Buckfast.
i'm a big fan of homemade pizza. i never use pizza hut, papa john's or dominos. the only thing i've done wrong was when i started making my own dough. once you do that, you can never go back to pre-made pizza bases. it just seems so wrong and dirty.
as for buckfast v's champagne? i know which one i'd rather have at any time of day and it's not french........

You are so right.
I'm making pizza tonight - one pepperoni, one mushroom. Thin crust in a hot oven so the crust goes all bubbled and blackened – with a wee bit of tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, parmesan and basil.
Yowsa.
bit of a double standard goin on here - praising your homemade fancy dan pizzas and the schemiest drink to be sold in the country in the same breath. buckfast is hardly the most sofisticated drink available.

such is the duplicity of my life.
at least buckfast doesn't pretend to be anything it's not. also, at ten o'clock on a monday morning its effects far superior to those of champagne.

buckfast is truely disgusting. have drank it about 3 times in my whole life. i am lucky in that within rolling distance of my flat there are a number of fine establishments that cater for my early morning drinking needs. the prefered bar of choice is the Stanley Bar in Kinning Park that opens it doors to patrons at 8am. many a fine saturday morning spent getting jaked in there.
[quote][cite] rusty:[/cite]I just remembered that I'm getting a free Pizza Hut tonight. It tastes so much better when It's free. Buckfast may also feature (it's a raffle prize at the chemistry cheese & wine tonight).
i should tell the story of the last time i was at a cheese and wine - remind me the next time i see you.

I'll get it tattooed onto my hand so I don't forget.
The only time I've ever drunk buckfast was at Nice n Sleazys – they do it by the glass. I thought it was alright, just tasted like port.
I cycled across Devon this summer and went past the buckfast abbey, it's pretty cool.

Aye, Buckfast in Sleazys in a wine glass, the height of sophistication, you can smell it from 10 paces though so everyone knows its real wine you've got. Bucky makes a good mixer with Vodka Red Bull ( a Gorbals Sunrise), I've had it mixed with whisky before too. I've also been on a pilgrimage to the Abbey.
As for home made pizza, it's cheap and tasty, it's a Saturday tradition in our house. I usually make enough dough and sauce for two weeks and freeze one half.
