Alrigh high highty, nice to meet you all, nice day, nice ride, nice folk.... To the guy who hung about and carried on with our shite, PROPS!!! I know our ways aren't fae every one but thanks for puttin up with us. Hard you had a wee fall, nae so good but hope you're ok bud X I left you guys at the roundabout and head up Great Western Road 47 minutes fae Balloch to the Halt bar steamin out of my mind....... Great photos. How was the Sunday ride? What did you all get up to out there? I'm mighty gutted I couldn't make it.

Sunday ride was great. We got separated a few times on the way there and there were quite a few lengthy stops but it was a good ride out. When we got there we did a bit of cyclocross up the loch-side path to a beach (involved shouldering the bikes and walking across a burn and over a fallen tree) for a BBQ and beer.
Some of us left just after 6:00pm and the rest stayed on later. Those of us who left at 6:00pm had a spirited ride back to Glasgow. Made a good time too. An enjoyable day had by all I think.

i was pretty annoyed, i was down for coming to the alleycat and also the loch lomond ride the day after however a cone on my rear wheel was buggered and i couldnt get it fixed till mid day sunday so i was out of cycling, just put a new chain and rear tyre on and life feels good.

Cuppa T:i was pretty annoyed, i was down for coming to the alleycat and also the loch lomond ride the day after however a cone on my rear wheel was buggered and i couldnt get it fixed till mid day sunday so i was out of cycling, just put a new chain and rear tyre on and life feels good.
that race X lite treating you right? (I was the bloke that sold you it in alpine)

ahhh, yeah just got it on the other day, its great so far.
i applied for a job in the bike dept and i have to come back on friday to talk with john is it for maybe a job... feel free to stick in a good word!whos is that black bike with purple grips and saddle that was outside?

oh thats Dougie's bike, he's our in house mechanic/garden gnome. He's Velonoir on the forum.
good luck with your interview, shouldnt be too much bother, the other applicants ive seen havent realy been bike shop material, mostly just credit crunch victims(people looking for any fucking job they can get) maybe see you about soon

I had a run in with a fence on the way back, bottled a cattle grid at top speed and hit the fence next to it instead, got some nice bruises to show for it, that'll teach me, think I'll have to save up for a brake for my track frame after all!
