Some really good photos.
.
aye nice one.
i'm about to stick a bunch up from saturday. mind and add them to the glasgow fixed gear group pool
Great photos. How was the Sunday ride? What did you all get up to out there? I'm mighty gutted I couldn't make it.
Sunday ride was great. We got separated a few times on the way there and there were quite a few lengthy stops but it was a good ride out. When we got there we did a bit of cyclocross up the loch-side path to a beach (involved shouldering the bikes and walking across a burn and over a fallen tree) for a BBQ and beer.
Some of us left just after 6:00pm and the rest stayed on later. Those of us who left at 6:00pm had a spirited ride back to Glasgow. Made a good time too. An enjoyable day had by all I think.
Cool beans. Next time my job can go hang itself...
my photos are up: http://www.flickr.com/photos/rabsda/tags/weekender/show/
i've got some more from the hillclimb to put up as well.
I have also put up my winning route from saturday night up, with all the little twists:

So what's the bag like then? I never got to see it. I take it that it now belongs to the girlfriend.
some pretty good pics
This is one of my favourites. I think that's almost as close as possible to in line with the top tube that you can get:

quite small but nice. Orange truck tarp lining
i was pretty annoyed, i was down for coming to the alleycat and also the loch lomond ride the day after however a cone on my rear wheel was buggered and i couldnt get it fixed till mid day sunday so i was out of cycling, just put a new chain and rear tyre on and life feels good.
i just stuck more pictures up from the hillclimb:

whos is that black bike with purple grips and saddle that was outside?
oh thats Dougie's bike, he's our in house mechanic/garden gnome. He's Velonoir on the forum.
good luck with your interview, shouldnt be too much bother, the other applicants ive seen havent realy been bike shop material, mostly just credit crunch victims(people looking for any fucking job they can get) maybe see you about soon
Less of the gnome chat Johnny or I'll tell them what we call you at work... How's your gay pride bag coping? Must be tough keeping it clean with all those large root vegetables you carry around ;)
Looked fun. Bit annoyed I missed it now.
Hey guys, was so nice to meet you all, thanks for organising everything, shame we couldn't have made it to more than just the ride on Sunday (put our pics up on our BLOG- http://recoatsinglespeeders.blogspot.com/), next time....
I had a run in with a fence on the way back, bottled a cattle grid at top speed and hit the fence next to it instead, got some nice bruises to show for it, that'll teach me, think I'll have to save up for a brake for my track frame after all!
Told a few folk, but we opened a new show on the Friday night, got some funny fixed gear art in, worth a look: http://www.flickr.com/photos/recoat/sets/72157614389229883/
Hope to see you all soon,
Amy and Ali

I would say that's great because we can get cheap stuff but I already know that you wont be getting a family and friends staff discount (if you were we'd already be getting cheap stuff through BSB).
Congrats on the job though.
