    Well, (Conn Artist knows about this....I was bursting to tell someone)

    I went to see Kraftwerk last night at Manchester Velodrome and, as if the light show, 3D projections (British debut), vintage Volkswagen graphics (my love of all pre '67 things VW is little known) and classic cycling footage wasn't enough, during Tour de France we were treated to Team GB doing a few laps of the velodrome.

    I came.

    Also, the 3D projection you saw wasn't the UK first. The gorillaz played a gig with their cartoon selves projected in 3D on the stage last year. It was in Wales though.
